About the Club
Elmhurst Club of Washington is a private, members only pool nestled in a private setting in Washington, Pennsylvania. Elmhurst pool was founded in the 1930’s and has been an active part of the community ever since. Elmhurst has over 400 member families. A waiting list is maintained for potential members.
Elmhurst offers private and group swim lessons for members. The pool also hosts a swim team that competes with other pools in the South Hills area.

- Heated “L” shaped main pool, depth 3 feet to 10 feet
- Five lane 25 meter pool
- Separate baby pool from 6 inches to 2 feet
- Two diving boards in the deep end
- Men’s and women’s restroom with changing areas
- Large grassy areas for sunbathing and for kids to play
- Pavilion with picnic tables and a grill for member use
- Pavilion can be reserved for members
- Lawn chairs and tables with umbrellas for member use
- Local pool manager and certified Red Cross lifeguards on duty
- Vending machines and a concession stand with ice cream and snacks
